Biography: Kathy Azari has been a teacher in early childhood music education for 6 years.
She teaches at Union Colony Childrens Music Academy in Greeley, Colorado.
In addition to teaching early childhood music, Kathy is also the Band Director at Brentwood Middle School
in Greeley. She has held this position for 15 years. She is a member of the National Music Educators Conference,
and was inducted into the national honorary society of band directors (Phi Beta Mu). Her bands have performed at the
Colorado Music Educators Conference and have received Superior Ratings at Colorado High School Activity Association Music
Festivals. Kathy is also an oboist who performs regularly throughout the front range of Colorado as well as with her
church.
Kathy has a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master
of Education Degree from the University of Phoenix specializing in the diverse learner. Kathy was recently recognized
by receiving Musikgartens Achievement Award.
