Biography: Dan Isbell has taught public school in New York, New Mexico and Colorado.
During his time teaching, Dan has taught 4-12 grade winds, brass, and percussion. Specialty areas include high brass
instruction and jazz. Dan is now the trumpet player in the Steamboat Jazz Quartet and is close to finishing a PhD in
Music Education at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
