Biography: I am a student at UNC studying for a masters of music in both percussion and
jazz. I have close to 13 years of expericence in my field. I originally learned to play latin music taking after my parents
although in time learned to expand my horizons while being in school. I have marched 6 years in my local high school band,
worked closely with BK's section leader, therefore allowing me to have more than basics in that field. I have also played
jazz drumset for 11 years within not only my educational career but throughout the northern region of Colorado. I have been
fortunate enough to be able to study with my instructors, Gray Barrier and Jim White, and have had the chance to take private
lessons from Michael Spiro (percussion guru) and legend Peter Erskine to buff my playing ability along with techniques to
teach to other aspiring musicians. My want in life is to get to another level of music, then to bring those who want to become
greater at what they do, to their dreams.
Education/Experience: Currently student at the University of Northern Colorado for music
performance degree in percussion and jazz.
