Biography: Laura has studied guitar since childhood, having first learnt on her Grandpas
guitar, with help from her professional jazz musician Father. She did the singer/songwriter scene during her college
years and continues to perform on her 12-string acoustic on a regular basis. She has studied classical guitar with various
teachers, the most recent and influential being Ricardo Iznaola. She attended the Lamont School of Music at DU and especially
enjoys 20th century music. Her passion is playing in mixed ensembles and teaching others the joy of making music on
their guitars.

Over 30 years private lesson teaching and performance experience including
but not limited to: guitar presentations/classical guitar workshops in area schools; performances with the Denver Mandolin
Orchestra, various guitar and mixed instrument ensembles; guitar related articles published in the GFA Soundboard and the
Mandolin Journal. Most recent concerts include: the Lakewood Cultural Center, CMSA annual convention, SCFD functions,
Swallow Hill, Breckenridge Music Festival; various master classes with Ricardo Iznaola, Gilbert Bibarian, Jorge Morel, John
Holmquist, Javier Calderon, others.
